Downtown Cab Co
Downtown Cab Co. , also known simply as DCC, was established in 1922 to address the growing need for reliable public transportation in San Andreas. Over the years, the company has expanded its fleet and services to meet the increasing demand, becoming the most recognizable and trusted taxi services in the city.
Downtown Cab Co. also collaborates with other factions and players to enhance their roleplay, offering services such as providing busses including drivers with organised events and enjoy organising joint-events or citywide events.
The faction is currently led by Lilymay Bryd who was appointed faction leader on May 4th, 2022.
Locations
Downtown Cab Co. has two main locations, one located on Mirror Park Boulevard in Los Santos and the other one on Paleto Boulevard in Paleto. There's also a garage in Del Perro used by the Mechanic's Divison.

The company's fleet consists of a range of well-maintained vehicles, ensuring comfort and safety for all passengers. This also includes electric vehicles. The fleet includes:
- Sedans: Standard taxis that accommodate up to four passengers.
- Minivans: Larger vehicles suitable for groups or passengers with additional luggage.
- Luxury Cars: Premium options for those seeking a more comfortable and stylish ride.
Faction Lore & Notable Events
Downtown Cab Co. is committed to giving back to the community. The company supports various local initiatives and charities, and actively participates in events that promote safety and well-being in Los Santos. Downtown Cab Co. also focuses on internal events for employees to build a stronger connections within the organisation.
DCC Awards
Inspired by the Los Santos Police Department, Downtown Cab Co started to organise the DCC Awards since December 2022. As it is a fun event, Downtown Cab Co organised the DCC Summer Awards 2024 for the first time and is planning to hold the DCC Awards bi-annually from now on. DCC Sexy Calendar
In the Summer of 2023 Downtown Cab Co worked on a sexy calendar which got sold and all the proceeds went to two charities, Trixie's Animal Shelter and LSMC's Soup Kitchen. The calendar was launched on a Charity Night on the August 4th, 2023. Link to the DCC Sexy Calendar
Weekly Events
For over two years DCC has organised weekly events, for the most part these were aimed at internal events. From treasure hunts and explorations to all kinds of racing or derby events.
Special Days & Discounts
DCC runs weekly special days and discounts to add a bit of fun for the faction members as well as the other players. This could be specific vehicles that would be driven that day, such as OnlyVans or Stretch day, but also Easter coloured vehicles to be driven around. Also three times a week faction members are allowed to "Buddy-Up", which means that they are allowed to drive around with another faction member while on duty.

Internal Affairs Division
In order to ensure that our drivers are following company procedure and protocol we welcome any person to utilize the following form to provide feedback, concerns and possible complaints that you might have.
Mechanic Division
Although the DCC provides the pinnacle of driving machines to their drivers, eventually slight wear or an accident can damage them.
To keep them functional we have an in-house mechanic team. They provide us with great care so we can continue keeping you safe on the road.
Public Relations Division
For DCC’s employees, the department organizes internal events on a weekly basis. Through these internal events, our employees can have fun and get to know each other better outside of the usual professional setting.
By setting up joint-events and setting up contracts with other organizations it provides opportunities for employees of other organizations to connect with each other.
The Public Relations department also arranges special events and discounts, drawing attention to the company and its services in a positive way.
Tour Division

We at DCC provide you with just that, we have worked closely with customer service since 1922. We offer you personal service, attention to detail and Hop on-Hop off system so you can enter our tour with ease.

Human Resources Director
The Human Resource Director has the responsibility to oversee the activities of lower management ranks to make sure DCC is running smoothly. The Human Resources Director is the direct link between the Chief Officers and the rest of the team. They will help generate new ideas for the future and see that they are implemented by assigning tasks. Additionally, they will help with Recruitment and Training protocols for Managers as well as handle Internal Affairs matters.
Manager
Managers are in charge of ensuring a good working atmosphere and promoting/protecting our company's image. They are responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing and placing workers. In addition, they are to perform regular public relations duties, including but not limited to advertisement of the company, collaborating with other businesses, as well as forming a good image of the company to outsiders. Managers also coordinate with the General Manager to ensure that there is an enjoyable experience within the company.
Assistant Manager
Assistant Manager's responsibilities are to provide guidance and instruction to the other Drivers if needed and keep them up to date with the actual news and updates about the company. If there is an issue with any of the Drivers, they report it to a Manager. They work as a Driver carrying the same duties but with higher responsibilities. In addition, they are to perform regular public relations duties, including but not limited to advertisement of the company, collaborating with other businesses, as well as forming a good image of the company to outsiders.
Supervisor Driver
Supervisor Drivers are the most experienced Drivers. They also coordinate other drivers in the movement and use of the Downtown Cab Co vehicles. They are required to be a helping hand when management is not on duty.
Expert Driver
The Expert Driver has the same responsibilities as the other Drivers. As a Expert Driver you have the option to drive a Stretch which is one of the high end vehicles in the Downtown Cab Co Fleet. This requires a high level of knowledge and perfect customer service.
Senior Driver
The Senior Driver has the same duties as other drivers but as well is responsible for providing driving and chauffeur duties to other Drivers if in need of assistance.
Driver
A driver's job is to drive customers around, and answer their calls. Drivers have the responsibility to take care of our customers as well our vehicles.
Junior Driver
Junior Drivers have gained sufficient experience to begin to prove themselves to the company. They provide and accept basic rides and calls.
Trainee
Trainees will typically perform the basic duties of a normal taxi driver. This is a probationary period in which a trainee must prove themselves to the company. After this period ends, the trainee is subject to an assessment in which if they pass, they will continue onto a Junior Driver.
Probationary Trainee
Probationary trainees hold the same responsibilities as trainees. This role is given due to extensive criminal records (with the latest charges being old) or interviewees who didn't do as well on their driving exam and interview as expected. Thus, reformed criminals will often hold this role. As a probationary trainee, employees are watched closely by management.
Recruitment
Downtown Cab Co's recruitment process is separated into three parts:
Application
Downtown Cab Co always welcomes new faction members that want to be a part of our faction. Interested applicants can find the application form on the careers page of the DCC Website. Please make sure to read through all the information before applying
Interview
After your application gets accepted, you get invited to come in for an in-character interview. This interview will assess the applicant's roleplaying skills, evaluates their communication abilities, and ensures they are a good fit for the faction's standards. During the interview, applicants will be expected to stay in-character, respond to various scenarios, and demonstrate their ability to communicate well.
On-boarding
Once an applicant passes the interview, they will be invited to join the faction and begin their on-boarding. The initial training will cover the basics of the roleplay how to clock on, how to do the on-duty checklist, how to use the commands to take taxi requests, how to use the out-of-character faction chat and how to clock off. As soon as a person is comfortable taking taxi requests by themselves, the on-boarding is completed.
