Overview

Los Santos Customs, more commonly known as LSC, is located on Carcer Way. LSC is the longest standing faction of the three mechanic shops within Los Santos and is known for their work in Engine and vehicle repairs, modifications, car washes, roadside repairs and towing services. As a faction, Los Santos Customs holds a high standard of roleplay and player interactions. The faction is known to work alongside other factions to create server events with the theme of cars, and to create roleplay opportunities for both the Criminal and Legal sides of the server via their work impounding for LSPD/LSSD and offering roadside repairs for those in need.

The faction is currently led by Liam Binnie who was officially appointed on 25 November 2023.

In-Character History

LSMS building

Established in 1987, the original LSMS (Los Santos Mechanical services) shop was strategically located in the southern section of the city, beside the Los Santos International Airport. This location was chosen for its accessibility to everyone in the city and that it could provide a convenient spot for quick automotive repairs and maintenance. This location became the location of Bayview once LSC had decided to move.

However, in 2017, LSMS underwent significant changes, including a complete rebranding and relocation. The shop moved to its current, more centralized location in downtown Los Santos, right next to City Hall. The original downtown shop consisted of a ledge where mechanics would greet customers and a small interior garage where all vehicle repairs and customizations were performed.

LSC's renovated building

LSC underwent another large transformation on the May the 15th, 2021. The shop has a renovation done on both the interior and exterior to better accommodate the growth of the business and to help aid the mechanics in being able to keep up with the demand. With this renovation, the interior space was greatly increased, but sadly this came at the cost of removing the original traditional ledge system in favour of a new system inside the shop.

Factions Leads

Over the years, the Los Santos Customs factions has gone through a few different faction leaders. As of right now, the faction is led by Liam Binnie (Fishy941) since his appointment in 2023.

Liam Binnie

Liam was appointed on the 25th of November 2023 and is currently still leading the faction. Liam has Selected Riley Kilgore as his right hand and opened a new position to bring James Allen in. This change was made as there was a restructuring within the company that changed the idea of the title being under the faction's lead's ownership to the faction led simply running the company. This change was simply made by removing the ranks "Owner" and "Co-Owner" in favour of "CEO" "COO" and "CFO"

Conrad McMount

Conrad was appointed official faction lead on the 6th of July 2022 and stayed in the position until the 23rd of June 2023. During this time, Conrad worked on refining systems he had helped integrate under Bailey Snow, such as a new blacklisting system. During this time, LSC as a faction was dealing with a lot of issues from the criminals of Los Santos, which led to a lot of changes in how the faction operated for safety reasons. The largest showcase of these new changes are the two large garage doors being blocked off to reduce the ability of escaping from LSC post shoot-out and the introduction of the check-in system at the front desk.

Bailey Snow

Bailey was appointed official faction lead on the 16th of January 2022 and stayed in the position until the 16th of June 2022. This appointment caused a lot of commotion within the management team at the time and caused a mass walk-out of everyone apart from his Co-lead Conrad mcMount. Bailey was a short-lived CEO who did not add many contributions to LSC, except for moving the operating ledge from the outside of LSC to the interior of the building and introducing a new way of managing blacklists.

Darion Rueb

Darion Rueb is the longest standing of the faction leads, first appointed on the 17th July 2019 and resigned on the 11 November 2021. Under the leadership of Darion, LSC went through numerous changes, including an entire revamp of the faction and its operating guidelines. During this time, Darion worked alongside the LFM team to introduce the MLO for Los Santos customs, moving it from the old LSC that is visible in vanilla GTA to the new update MLO that can be seen on the Eclipse Roleplay server.
