In-Character History
Bayview Auto Center has a extensive history that predates it current location and name.
Early History
In 2016, there was only one mechanic shop serving the City of Los Santos called Los Santos Mechanical Services, which was later renamed Los Santos Customs. Located in the Southern part of the city next to the Los Santos International Airport, it was the go-to mechanic shop vehicle repairs and modifications.
In early 2017 the San Andreas State Government decided to set up another mechanic shop to help with the growing demand on mechanical services. Under the ownership of Billy Biggs, Biggs' Premium Motor Works founded and took over the mechanic shop location next to the Los Santos International Airport whilst Los Santos Customs relocated to a new location, where it can be found today.
Biggs' Premium Motor Works continued to thrive, building up a loyal customer base. However by mid-2017 the mechanic shop underwent a transformation and rebranded as Bayview Auto Center where it continued to operate with a strong commitment to providing their customers with the best possible service, and striving to exceed their expectations.
Paleto Bay
In April 2020 the San Andreas State Government decided to relocate Bayview to Paleto Bay.
Services
Bayview offers four types of mechanic services; repairs, modifications, roadside repairs and vehicle towing. Besides that, Bayview is always collaborating with other government companies helping them out on their duties, such as impounding vehicles and providing our assistance with their organised events.
Repairs
Bayview offers both visual and engine repairs for all sorts of vehicles at our shop.
Modifications
A range of modification options for most cars, motorcycles, and boats is available. Some examples of modifications offered are paint jobs, performance upgrades, and bodywork, all of which can be done at the shop.
Roadside Repairs
Bayview's roadside vehicles are equipped with a variety of tools and parts, allowing for minor engine and visual repairs away from the shop.
Towing Service
Equipped with tow trucks and flatbeds, which have winches installed, Bayview can transport cars and motorcycles to places like gas stations, vehicle flips, and impounds.
Organizational Structure
Owner
The CEO of the company represents Bayview in talks with the Government and ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations. The Owner has the final decision on promotions, demotions, and dismissals and is responsible for enforcing policies and ensuring the High Command performs its duties.
Co-Owner
The owner’s right-hand and most trusted advisor, the Co-Owner assists with whatever the owner needs and ensures company rules and policies are implemented when necessary.
General Manager(s)
General Manager(s) are the third-in-command at Bayview, relaying messages between the Owner(s) and Manager(s). They help make decisions and implement changes for the company, ensuring that the management team performs their duties as they should.
Manager(s)
Managers oversee all mechanics, maintain good work standards, and actively communicate with other members of management regarding promotions, human resources tasks, and other miscellaneous topics. They are involved in high-level decision-making surrounding the operation of the company.
Supervisor(s)
Supervisors are experienced in all mechanic work and are considered to have exemplary conduct and workability. They are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work of employees and enforcing Bayview policies. Supervisors can issue suspensions and fire employees with Manager's permission. At this rank, a supervisor is eligible to become a director of a division if there is an opening.
Assistant Supervisor(s)
As one of the first management ranks, Assistant Supervisors assist with the day-to-day operations and directly report to a Supervisor. Assistant Supervisors can issue contracts to Trainees and help other employees with their tasks when required. They are the first point of contact between employees and management. At this rank, an Assistant Supervisor is eligible to become an Assistant Director of a division if there is an opening.

The training period lasts a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 5 weeks. After the training period ends, Management will decide whether the trainee will progress to Junior Mechanic.
Probationary Trainee

Recruitment
Our recruitment process is separated into three parts:
Application Process
Bayview is constantly recruiting new members for entry-level mechanic positions. Our application form can be found on Bayview's recruitment forums, where you should also read the other important information.
The following requirements must be met for your application to be considered:
- You must have at least 5000 experience on the character you are applying with.
- You need to have a clean admin record of at least 14 days from when you submit your application.
Interview Process
If you pass the application phase, then you will be invited for an in-character interview. This interview will be used to judge your ability to roleplay and communicate effectively.
Training Phase
If your interview is accepted, you will be invited to join the faction and complete your training. The training can be the most difficult part of the recruitment process for some, as it is very roleplay intensive. It can also be fairly difficult because mechanic RP has a learning curve to it, and can be difficult for some to learn. The initial training will teach you the basics of mechanic RP, where you will learn how to roleplay basic engine and visual repairs, and how to roleplay some types of modifications. We will also teach you how to use the tow trucks and flatbeds. After your training, we will provide you with resources where you can learn more about how to service cars, and will also provide feedback as time goes on.
