ENVY
<small>Established January 2023</small>

ABOUT US
It started with a handful of people who shared a common love for racing. When some of the old founders of Mirror Park Tuning decided to revamp their glory days, not one of them ever thought ENVY would become something more than a hobby but nights spent at Observatory and Vineyard quickly morphed into something more. Word was spreading a group of skilled drivers was bringing back the race scene and before they knew it, everywhere they went someone was asking to be invited to the next round.

It was only a few months before what was once a few cars became dozens and soon, ENVY was holding race nights through the city that wreaked havoc. Whether or not they wanted to be, their members were now known by law enforcement and they found themselves at a crossroads. They could scale back and return to small events or, on the heels of their new found notoriety, adjust how they operated and become something more. Mechanic repairs and new cars were expensive, after all, and though many of their members held legal positions, the adrenaline rush of pursuits had given them the taste of a thrill they were willing to give it all up for.

Within a year, most who held high ranking legal jobs had been terminated or resigned and along the way they’d managed to pull together a group of people who all considered themselves adrenaline junkies.

Now, they just had to find a way to fund their lifestyle without the government.

With failsafe funding brought by their multi-million dollar company Kateus Holdings and ENVY’s two nightclubs, Periscope and Cix, members of ENVY have shifted their focus from cash flows legitimized by countless forged documents to more dangerous endeavors. While their flagship building, Club Cix, continues to open once a month or so to boost their treasury, most of ENVY’s time is spent securing their position in the industrial area. Chopping cars is their biggest obsession, with its members adamant they can find a way to capitalize on the excess parts they store within their multiple properties scattered across the state. Still feeling the fallout from their raucous beginnings, being able to successfully evade has become a trademark of ENVY and as such, every one of its members is taught from day one an ever growing list of evasive maneuvers and provided ongoing training with call outs, driving tactics, and the ability to drive any one of the vehicles purchased by the organization since its inception. When not chopping or escaping from their most recent pursuit, ENVY continues to reinvent and cement the race scene within Los Santos. Gone are the days of mass race nights weekly that drew endless law enforcement attention. In their place is a website that serves as ENVY’s gospel - CMXCIX. Buried underneath passwords and unmapped pages, access to CMXCIX will bring with it time trials for ENVY’s favorite tracks, maps of newly created tracks, and ways to keep the thrill alive while also serving as a training guide for newer members.

FIND US
Location: Industrial

Centralized at 11 Popular St, ENVY focuses its foothold in the city in the nearby areas. While not often standing still anywhere due to their love of being on the move, during their downtime ENVY can often be found in the club’s parking lot.

Members of ENVY can be found driving cars of any color and wearing nearly anything; however one thing never changes. Vibrant, neon greens light their cars and a piece of clothing is worn to mimic the same hues. Most opt to wear bracelets or shoes that glow neon green as homage to their prized possessions.

BEING US
Ranks

* Street Commander- High Command
* Street Captain - High Command
* Street Lieutenant - Command
* Advisor
* Wanted
* Runner
* Street Racer
* Buster
* Outsider
* Ghost

Notorious for their neon-lit cars, ENVY relies on its fleet of vehicles for mobility regardless of the situation. Cars are their primary mode of transport and only when circumstances leave them no alternative do they resort to other means of transportation.

CHOPPING

Expect to get your hands dirty. Car enthusiasts, ENVY’s primary criminal activity is chopping cars. Whether it be selling stolen parts to citizens for cheaper repairs than the local mechanics or helping their relations keep their ends of a business deal, ENVY has become a powerhouse of chopping and known for their large stockpile.

RACING

Time trials, creating new tracks, testing our abilities with random car assignments to random people, and running old tracks - ENVY does it all. Our CMXCIX website serves as a snapshot for the best drivers in the organization and everyone is vying for the top spot. We spend our free time practicing our driving skills so when push comes to shove, we’re ready.

EVASION

Lights and sirens mean it’s go time and ENVY prides itself on being the best of the best. When the time comes, members have undergone several trials to prove their capabilities and have learned a multitude of tricks - including call out training during games of follow the leader throughout the city. We don’t need to shoot to get away- when things get sticky, we use confusion tactics and other “borrowed” tools from law enforcement.

THE IN BETWEEN

In ENVY, loyalty is paramount. While our primary focuses drive our core activities, it’s not uncommon to find our members dabbling in anything exciting. Whether it's cruising in their favorite cars, serving as skilled getaway drivers or a distraction for close allied organizations, experimenting with cooking, or enjoying time together as a close-knit group, ENVY thrives on a shared experience as one rather than individuals with different morals. ENVY's essence lies not in striving to be the biggest and baddest, but creating memorable moments or in the excitement of pursuits.

The Wardens
Warden Kourtney LaFleur (Current)
Warden Kourtney Lafleur was appointed as the Warden of Bolingbroke Penitentiary on the 27th January 2022 after the resignation of Warden Solomon Cobb. Born and raised in Vinewood Hills to her two loving parents.

She was an only child and was treasured by both of her parents. They doted on Kourtney as she grew up, treating her like a princess. Although neither of her parents were vegan, at the young age of 7 when she stopped being breastfeed, she decided to take up the lifestyle herself. After college she studied at Psychology at ULSA where she met her first wife where she received her doctorate.

Kourtney applied to SADOC in October 2020 with her first wife after realising that she needed to do more with her life besides posting feet pics on OnlyFans. They were seen as outcasts for their different ways of handling the job with a lighter touch than what was necessary. This lead to her getting suspended on her first day for a week. Unlike her wife, Kourtney took this time to reflect on what was required for her and she came back with enthusiasm and a refreshed demeanour. Just over a month after that, she joined the Correctional Emergency Response Team, which was disbanded a few weeks later.

Kourtney began to devote a lot of her time to the Psych Team and wrote the entire handbook herself, using all the knowledge she had learned during her doctorate. She was then handed the head of Psych and continued to use this to showcase the skills she had. This helped her grow until she reached the Supervisor rank. From here she joined Human Resources and joined Command. She spent most of her time at SADOC for this period working on paperwork or hiring lots of new employees. She eventually handed over Human Resources to a budding Captain when she reached High Command and decided to focus on all aspects of the department.
Recruitment Process
When starting your journey to become an SADOC officer, there is a few steps taken.

#Application. The application is an way for the Human Resources team to get to know what kind of person you are, as well as your history and intentions. An member of said team will go through your application and do an background check, then respond to it with either an list of things they need updated, that you moved on to the next step or denial.
#Interview. Probably the step that most sees as most scary. It starts with you heading to SADOC and asking for a member of Human Resources for an interview. From there you will be patted down, put your fingerprint in the legal system and take an drugtest. After that, you will sit down with the human resource member and start the interview. Then, you will either get the results on the spot, or on your application later on. If you apply to become an Custodian Correctional Officer, you skip step 3.
# Physical test. Next up is the physical test, which is to make sure your fit for duty and can keep up with what our duties requires you to. Again you go to SADOC and ask for an member of human resources. They will pat you down, then take you to one of our training grounds. ((This is when we check your roleplay out, and the roleplay will heavily depend on /me's and /do's)) After the course is complete, you again will either get results on the spot or later on your application.
# Academy This is the final step before you become an officer. The Academy will be scheduled by an member of human resources on the goverment site, and your required to show up 15 minutes before the time. It will start with an patdown, then you will be taken to sign your employement contract, get your badge and uniform. Then you will start an class that will go through our protocols, whats expected of you and a tour of the grounds.

The Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) is the place where players can acquire a driver or trucker license. These licenses are required by law to drive a car or truck.
About
The DMV is marked on the map with a blue identification card, and is labeled "DMV".

Outside there is a World Interaction UI that allows the user to access the DMV menu.
In the menu, you can read an introductory message that tells you the steps to getting a license.
Tutorials and Exams
There is a short tutorial that takes the player into a cutscene that gives information about IC rules and laws. This includes speed limits, how to drive, driving laws, and other related information.

There are the two exams. The exams are short guided trials that involve the player driving on a set course. The objective of the test is to get the player familiar with driving and ensure they know to drive correctly and follow speed limits. The truckers exam is similar to the drivers exam, but the player uses a semi-truck instead of a car. Each exam costs $650.
Finishing the Exams
After completing the exam(s), the player will receive the license for the exam they passed. You can see your new license by typing /licenses in the chat box.

Recruitment Process
When starting your journey to become an SADOC officer, there is a few steps taken.

# Application. The application is an way for the Human Resources team to get to know what kind of person you are, as well as your history and intentions. An member of said team will go through your application and do an background check, then respond to it with either an list of things they need updated, that you moved on to the next step or denial.
# Interview.
#Physical test.
#Academy This is the final step before you become an officer.
